Annie first began training under Kate Reid in the hunter division. Within 4 weeks she was entered into her first show and came home with first and second place ribbons. In the following year Annie was schooled under Lori Bell, of Horse Haven Farm, where she was trained in basic dressage. In the year 2001 we attended the Eastern Canadian Breed show where Annie was awarded Supreme Champion of Show by international Irish judge, Clive Evans. We were thrilled with the results, as there were a number of excellent Connemara pony representatives present.
Annie has made us proud, even though she is not currently shown under saddle. Her achievements are all seen in her progeny. Annie is an excellent broodmare with very strong Connemara qualities. She has stamped all of her foals with excellent conformation, substance, movement and personality. Each one has been a quick learner and a pleasure to work with.
